On the afternoon of April 10th, the graduation ceremony of the "Capability Building Program for African Future Leaders" was successfully held at Shandong Vocational College of Science and Technology. Twelve Tanzanian trainees who came to China for training, as well as representatives from Chongqing Construction Engineering Vocational College, Chengdu Textile College, Shandong Foreign Languages Vocational and Technical University, China Africa Vocational Education Alliance and other relevant units, attended the event. Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and President Liu Fuyu attended and gave a speech. The meeting was chaired by Xu Xiaoyan, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President, and attended by relevant department heads and representatives of teachers and students.

Liu Fuyu delivered a speech on behalf of the school, congratulating the students on their successful graduation. He emphasized that Shandong Vocational College of Science and Technology had established friendly cooperation with African countries such as Tanzania as early as 2005. In 2022, the vocational standards and supporting professional teaching standards for clothing design technicians and clothing production technicians developed by the school were certified by the Tanzania National Vocational Education Commission and officially included in the Tanzania national vocational education system. Through this in-depth discussion, we will continue to promote exchanges and cooperation between China and Tanzania in vocational standard development, curriculum resource construction, teacher training, and other aspects.

Representatives from Chongqing Construction Engineering Vocational College, Chengdu Textile College, Shandong Foreign Studies Vocational and Technical University, and our teachers shared their experience in undertaking this training at the meeting. Dr. Edward, the representative of the Tanzanian training delegation, reported on the results of the training. He stated that during his training in China, he gained rich teaching experience and professional knowledge, broadened his understanding of the vocational education field, and gave them a deeper understanding of the Chinese vocational education system. He looks forward to continuing vocational education cooperation with China to promote the development of vocational education in Tanzania. At the meeting, Liu Fuyu presented graduation certificates to Tanzanian trainees in China and took a group photo as a souvenir.

Duan Xiaofei, Secretary General of the African side of the China Africa Vocational Education Alliance, delivered an online speech, affirming the learning achievements of the Tanzanian training team in China during the training period. The representative of the alliance issued a thank-you letter to the universities and outstanding teacher representatives who undertook this training, in order to thank the Chinese universities for their support of Tanzania's education management training work.

This training program in China not only enables Tanzania's education management personnel to grow rapidly, but also extends China's vocational education experience to more countries. It provides opportunities for comprehensive, multi-level, wide-ranging, and three-dimensional international cooperation with overseas countries, helping China's "vocational education going global" strategy and making new and greater contributions to the high-quality development of vocational education.
