To further promote the innovative development of international industry-education integration and strengthen international scientific research cooperation and academic exchanges, the school held a ceremony to present the plaque for the Joint Laboratory of Data Analysis for International Industry-Education Integration on April 9th. Xu Xiaoyan, member of the school's Party Committee and Vice Principal, Professor Hafiz Khan from the University of Oxford, and Feng Xiuhong, Director of Weifang Industry-Education Integration Research Institute, attended the event.

This joint laboratory, relying on the Project Funded by the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Planning titled Research on Localization Strategies for Sino-African Vocational Education Cooperation from the Perspective of International Industry-Education Integration, was led by our school and jointly established with Weifang Industry-Education Integration Research Institute and Professor Hafiz Khan's team from the University of Oxford. It focuses on collaborative efforts in key areas such as data analysis in international industry-education integration, cross-border academic research, and innovation in talent cultivation models. This is an important initiative for the school to promote school-local collaboration and deepen international cooperation.
Xu Xiaoyan pointed out that the joint laboratory is a result of the school's commitment to integrating science and education, industry and education, delving into scientific research innovation and international cooperation, and enhancing academic education standards.
She put forward three requirements for the laboratory construction: first, to adhere to the bottom lines of compliance and strengthen safety barriers; second, to deepen multi-party collaboration and pool development synergy; third, to focus on scientific research breakthroughs and produce high-quality results.
Professor Hafiz Khan shared cutting-edge research findings in international industry-education integration and data analysis, clarified the subsequent directions for international scientific research cooperation, and expressed the willingness to deepen cross-border collaboration and jointly promote the high-quality development of the laboratory. Feng Xiuhong congratulated on the laboratory's plaque presentation, pointing out that building an international joint laboratory through school-local cooperation can effectively help to upgrade the quality of Weifang's industry and education integration.
In the future, the school will leverage the joint laboratory to link the University of Oxford with Weifang City's high-quality industry-education integration resources. It will deeply explore core research areas such as innovation in international industry-education integration models, construction of quantitative evaluation systems, building of industry-specialty-employment linkage models, and enhancement of visualization levels in international industry-education integration research. It will strive to promote project implementation and produce a batch of high-quality scientific research results; strengthen the laboratory's educational functions, drive research to support teaching, and cultivate technical and skilled talents with international vision, professional quality, and practical abilities.
