On the morning of November 4th, Gui Li, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department of the Provincial Department of Education, and Liu Changjun, a Fourth-Level Senior Inspector of the Exit-Entry Administration Corps of the Provincial Public Security Department, came to the school to inspect the work on education for overseas students studying in China. Zheng Deqian, Secretary of the School Party Committee, attended the symposium, and Xu Xiaoyan, member of the Party Committee and Vice President, accompanied the inspection."
At the meeting, Zheng Deqian, on behalf of the school, warmly welcomed the inspection team's arrival and expressed gratitude to the Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Public Security Department for their long-term care and support. He hoped that the inspection team would put forward valuable opinions on the school's work on education for Chinese international students, helping the school's work in this area take a new step towards high-quality development. Xu Xiaoyan reported on the school's work in education for Chinese international students from three aspects: work achievements, characteristics and innovations, as well as existing problems and directions for improvement.
Gui Li spoke highly of the university's achievements in international student education. She noted that the school has maintained standardized management procedures, enriched cultural activities, and delivered remarkable results in talent cultivation. Through effective collaboration with immigration authorities, prompt information sharing, and timely responses, the school has demonstrated exemplary performance. She encouraged the institution to build on these accomplishments and create a "Shandong Vocational College of Science and Technology model" for international student education.
The inspection team evaluated the university's international student education program by reviewing documentation, conducting on-site visits, and holding discussions. Representatives from the Municipal Public Security Bureau, Weicheng District Public Security Branch, the university's Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, and the Security Department accompanied the inspection.
