On the afternoon of May 20, a delegation of four members led by Li Chunyoung, Director of the International Office of Yeungnam University in South Korea, visited the college for academic exchange. Vice President Xu Xiaoyan, a member of the college's Party Committee, received the delegation and held a discussion with them. Representatives from the Department of Civil Engineering and the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange also attended the meeting.
On behalf of the college, Xu Xiaoyan extended a warm welcome to Yeungnam University and highlighted the institution's recent breakthroughs in talent cultivation model innovation, distinctive program cluster development, and international collaboration expansion. She reviewed the fruitful achievements in joint curriculum development and faculty-student exchange programs between the two institutions. Xu Xiaoyan expressed hope that both sides would further expand professional cooperation areas and innovate exchange formats based on existing foundations.
Li Chunyong presented the school's educational history, distinctive strengths, campus environment, specialized programs, tuition fees, and scholarship policies. She expressed her hope that this visit would foster closer collaboration with our university in student exchange programs and faculty development, enabling resource sharing and joint efforts to advance high-level educational exchanges between China and South Korea.
During the meeting, both parties discussed in depth the joint student training model and reached consensus on deepening and building inter-school cooperation and exchange relations, as well as expanding project cooperation.
During the visit, the guests toured the Shandong Intelligent Manufacturing Public Training Base, the National Garment Production Training Base, and the Green Building & Intelligent Construction Training Base, and attended students exchange activity and communicate with students majoring in architectural engineering technology.
